Only rain and blustery conditions are forecast as of 7/23. Strengthening not expected. Weather conditions are enough of a safety threat to warrant evacuation of Gulf oil spill cleanup crews from tankers.

First day of summer marks 3 days of non-stop rain in the Virgin Islands


The season's first tropical wave gave the British and U.S. Virgin Islands a good cistern filling over the weekend leading to the first day of summer on June 21st.
